Heres the new trailer for the movie, which stars Ryan Reynolds as the tiny electric mouse sleuth, and Justice Smith as the human sidekick. First up, I would like to sincerely state that the CGI interpretation of Ludicolo as a duck-billed hairy bartender is one of the most horrifying things I have ever seen in my life, and I would be fine if this particular creature were hunted out of existence in Pokmon franchise canon. Traffic cop Machamp is a nice touch though, and for everyone who has so far been perturbed by the number of Pokmon that have been soft-rebooted as fluffy in their live-action debuts (Psyduck, whatre you doing bud), folks will be pleased to know that champ remains smooth as all hell. Oh, and at one point a Blastoise withdraws into its shell and breakdances to fight off an approaching gang of Gengars. Alongside Reynolds and Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, and Bill Nighy will also appear.
